DIY Hydrating Apricot Face Mask

When the spring comes we should already think about including fruit in our everyday life.
One of the most important fruit is the apricot. It is very benefic for a shiny skin. From apricots kernel we can obtain an oil that can be used in many cosmetic products such as face creams, body lotions, soaps, massage oils or shampoos.

They are rich in fatty acids, vitamins A and E, essential nutrients that are good for skin firmness.

They are also known for their anti-inflammatory effects. That is why you can use it to treat eczema or stains on sensitive skin. Apricots, that are rich in antioxidants protect the face skin against external factors and hydrate it.
Masks based on apricots are very useful for wrinkles. I’ll show you four masks that you can prepare at home:
Mask for normal skin
Prepare an apricot paste and mix it with a teaspoon of honey. Apply the mask on your face skin and let it stay for 15 minutes. Remove the mask with a napkin and rinse with lukewarm water.
Mixed skin       
You need some dry apricots. Put them in water and let them stay overnight. Mix them with some milk powder or yogurt. Before applying the mask clean you face with some lemon juice. Let the mask stay for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
Oily skin         
You need one apricot, two boiled carrots (before you use them let them cool), three teaspoons of honey and two tablespoons of yogurt. Apply the mask, let it stay and then remove it with lukewarm water.
